I like these pants. I have plenty of jeans, but I really like these pants. The same doesn’t go for shoes. I just can’t find enough I like. These shoes from UBU are nice, but they’re kind of a pain to customize. With the great customization comes the great complexity, I guess. Anyways…

I like Gritty Kitty. I do. I’m not a neko, but that shouldn’t matter. And it doesn’t. So go buy things from Gritty Kitty. Not too much. We don’t want the designer to be able to retire. Just enough to give them the motivation to keep going. Not that they don’t already have sufficient traffic/sales. I’m sure they’re doing quite well. Ramble. Periods. The stuff. ..

So I got this great white sweater top from Kal Rau. Problem was, it had a nasty puffer layer with the default blank/white shirt texture. It was a nice shirt, but needless to say the solid white was less than appealing. I IMed Kal Rau about it and he responded VERY quickly. Right there on the spot, he made a new layer based on the jacket layer’s alpha and VOILA! a perfect shirt puffer layer. Sorry for rambling, but I just had to share this. It’s rare you meet a designer this responsive and generous with their time. So props to Kal Rau! (the clothes aren’t bad either!)

So the blog is officially back online. I’ve come to terms with the fact that SL just isn’t going to run as well as it used to thanks to my NEW video card. Why can’t Linden Labs and ATI just be friends? Anyways, I’ve got 3

So I haven’t posted in a while, so I’m making it official that the blog is inactive until further notice. I upgraded some computer hardware and now I can’t run Second Life (at least not with settings high enough to take photos). Until Second Life supports ATI’s HD4800 series video cards, I’m essentially out of commission.
If I upgrade my computer further (which means new mobo, cpu, and ram), I’ll build a secondary computer with older hardware so I can run SL. It seems a bit odd that I have to build a computer with outdated hardware to play a game that is still in development, but that’s the way things are turning out. Unless Second Life switches to OpenGL 2.1, I don’t see things ever working correctly again.
This is just about my all time favorite outfit. If I can’t think of what to wear, I tend to default to this looks. Warning: You will most likely be called a surfer boy.

It’s time for the first outfit. Nothing spectacular this time; I just went with what I was wearing. Apologies for the solid white background. I wasn’t really thinking about how much it would clash with the dark style of the blog, but hopefully it doesn’t burn too much.
